My Uncle STOLE my inheritance

My father passed away in West Virginia. At the time he was living with his brother (my uncle) I am the only living child that my father has, so anything that he had was now technically mine. I was told by my uncle that my father had a substantial amount of $ in the bank. My uncle claimed that he was afraid to touch the account and that we had to go through the probate court to handle the matter,
I was currently in a homeless shelter with my children and could not afford to travel out of state to go to probate court and file the matter.
I asked my dear uncle to help me with this and he agreed with the terms of deducting whatever fee was charged by the court out of what I was to get.
I never heard from my uncle again... I have called him several times and left messages. I have sent him numerous letters and get NO response!
I am left to assume that he took my money and kept it for himself!!
