NVEnergy has decided to push for these ridiculous energy efficiency programs and new meters for everybody but what happened? Their profits fell from 36.9 Million in the second quarter of 2010 to 12.9 Million in the second quarter of 2011 (Ending June 30th) The Public Utilities Commission approved NVEnergy to hike their rates so my power bill jumped from an average of $100.00/month to July of $285.00 and Aug of $278.00! OUTRAGEOUS!
They are so worried about their profits and don't seem to care that they are just helping to kill the economy of Las Vegas. People can't afford these kind of bills right now! I haven't increased my usage these past 2 months, in fact I reduced usage! Yet, their "new energy efficient meters" they forced on everybody show I'm using tons more!
