I purchased a used a car; I filed a credit applicattion which the salesman, john, told me I was approved of. I gave them my trade-in worth $3,300 and $4,700 cash. On May 26, I received an approved letter from the finance company, Premier Partners, Inc.included 30 coupons payments. On June 11, Premier Partners opened/reported an auto loan under my name with Equifax. On June 17, my car was stolen. When I called the dealer, John informed me that the finance company changed their mind. I immediately demanded my $4,700 and my trade-in; he replied and said "you're getting nothing back. The dealer forfeit my signature on a non-refundable down payment and sent it o the DMV when I had filed a complaint against them with the DMV. I'm still not getting my refund and my license plate from the dealer. The fraudulent acts of the dealer and the finance company clearly point that these wo entities are working together to defraud unsuspected car buyers of their large deposit and their trade-in. I have never received any phone calls or certified mails from neither J&D auto sales nor Premier Partners telling me that my loan wasn't approved.
