I shop at my local Target at least once a week. This past visit really made me question whether I want to shop there anymore. Here is what happened: I was checking out and the girl that checked me out was a poster child for how not to treat a customer. First she never greeted me or even looked at me. And as I began to set my items down I told her that her conveyor belt was all wet and asked her if she had towels to dry it up when she looked at me like she wanted me dead. She finally gathered up some towels and gave them to me so that "I could" clean up her conveyor belt. Also during this transaction I asked her not to bag up my large items (ie: pamper boxes, etc) and instead she bagged up everything (mixing my food items with cleaning items) and I walked out of the store with what seemed like 50 plastic bags! To top things off she talked to another employee standing by her register, the entire time she rang me up. At the end I used coupons she entered them and then just stood there until I looked at the computer to figure out my total. What is frustrating is that I have been to this Target countless times and have overall had good experience, but this girl was either having a bad day, skipped her training or just hates working there (or all of the above). She should probably be moved to stock shelves or to work in the warehouse where she will not be "bothered" by customers or expected to be friendly to people.
