I miss target! Whatever happened to Target's friendly and courteous clerks? Over the past three years, the Target store in Kennewick Washington has hired some terribly rude clerks.

While checking out at the store today, the clerk who was checking my items never one acknowledged me. No hello, hi, how are you today, or even a grunt! She checked my items, then turned to look away. I was guessing at that time that my items were all scanned and I was ready to pay. Well, guess what? She never even told me my TOTAL!!! I looked up and around at the cash register to see what my total amount was then scanned my debit card, she never uttered a word. I had some trouble using the pad to input my pin number, so instead of being friendly and assisting me, she grabbed the pen from my hand and continued to literally scold me for not "holding the pen right" What in God's name is that about?

This is just one of the many customer service complaints I can provide, but I think this is the LAST STRAW! I don't deserve to be treated like that. I worked retail for 8 years and never treated my customers like that. Plus we had quarterly training sessions in providing quality customer service. We were instantly written up if we were caught treating a customer like I was treated today (and over the past 3 years).

I'm done! I'll go to Shopko, Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, anyplace except Target.

Thank you Target for the few good years and great associates you had in the past, but for now SO LONG. Or at least get rid of GWEN!
