I was very upset an appalled at the way I was treated at the Dollar Tree at Dollar Tree location 1933 South Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. We had all of our items placed on the conveyor belt waiting to be checked out while also waiting for the cashier to come back after assisting another customer with balloons. Once the cashier came back, he asked his assistant manager Mary if he could go on break. She said yes, and after the cashier checked out the person in front of us, the cashier said "' I'm going on break, someone else has to help you." After waiting patiently that's what we were told! So I had to remove all of my $25.00 worth of items off the conveyor belt and move to a whole other aisle to be assisted. I confronted the Assistant Manager Mary and she said she would talk to the cashier, however I blame Mary for not advising the cashier to FIRST - assist his customers who were left waiting with items ALREADY on the conveyor belt and to THEN go take his break. This is not the way you treat your customers and I am very furious about this. Very unacceptable. It's going to take me a while to ever shop at any Dollar Tree store again.
