I went to Target with a long list of items to purchase. I had their store coupons for several items. One of them was for VIVA paper towels. I was there at 1:00 P.M. On a Saturday. They were out of the towels and could not give a raincheck reportedly based on the manufacturers directions. They printed out a list of other stores that still had the towels, but since Eau Claire only has one Target it wasn't helpful. I shop Target on average once a week. I have their store credit card. I do not have time to go back repeatedly to see if the item (s) is back on the shelf. I lead a busy life and expect to be able to get the items I need or a raincheck. If items are limited then it should be marked in the ad and maybe I wouldn't go that week for the items in the flyer. I am very happy with this store, but very disappointed with this situation. It makes me cautious to go for just ad items knowing they might be out and I can't get a raincheck.
