Metro PCS Coverage Misrepresented - Return Policy and Customer Service

Purchased an LG Optimus M with $50/month plan on 24AUG11. Cost $157.94 (phone 1 month service). This comes with a 7 day return policy. Checked out the covereage area where we live in Livonia, MI. Everywhere is, at worst, listed as GOOD. We live in a "good" area. Our phone only works when we're on the 2nd floor of our home with, at best, 1 bar signal strength. Took the phone out for a ride in the car in our, so called, "good" area. It works about half the time. Then we did a science experiment, we drove the phone through many GOOD (Bulls*t!) areas. As far as we could determine 'PCS good' equals 'maybe' in the real world. Returned the phone to PCS on 27AUG11 and they wanted a restocking fee of $15, which they reduced to $10 when I complained. Well, I complained more to their Customer Service. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!
I got nowhere and ended up calling it a ten dollar lesson. Unless you're ALWAYS in the middle of Metro's best signal areas I wouldn't even consider thier product.
