On July 11th, LivingSocial ran an add that claimed a 70% discount for "Denver's Best Lobster."
I responded to that ad, fully expecting it to be honored. I exchanged, as requested. My personal information for access to the advertised special.instead of receiving access to the advertised special, I was redirected to a Yogurt "deal" - a far cry from lobster, wouldn't you agree?
There was never any indication that this ad was an assortment of past deals or deals that are similar to the ones they've run. The implication was clear, that by sharing my personal information, I would have access to the advertised special, which was a 70% discount for Denver's Best Lobster.
