Me and my boyfriend had just pick Auburn Glen to move in to boy did I make a mistake. Before all of this happened the day after the 4th of July we got a call for Darla staying that the place that we originally wanted was gone. She told us that some one put the money down on the place. We was not to mad because we don't have the money yet, but the next day she call and said that she I have a bottom floor available and we thought GREAT. That was what we wanted only because my boyfriends family members can't walk down the stair so we ask for a bottom floor so they can come visit us. She wanted us to come in as so as we can to put that money down.
As we are signing the paper work I ask her is every thing still the same in this one "she said yes" this include all of the appliances. I signed the money order and she said to put D 109 as the apartment. Me and my boyfriend was thing what this was the place we originally wanted. I thought it was gone. After a few days gone by I called Darla and she said that she was mistaken that it's D 102 and I asked her again is every thing the same she said yes.
On Monday the18 Darla calls us to ask if we could not move in until Friday because there was a small leak from a pipe in the wall. As I told her we can't because of the u-haul was all ready to go. She said that the place would be done on the move in day. One the day me and my boyfriend movie in we give the prorated rent on July 20. As we got there we was setting down we was inform by Samatha that there was no washer in the apartment. If a place is missing something that is advertise than it not move in ready. After signing some paper we went to check the place out to make sure that there was nothing wrong with it, but was I wrong. The lady that showed us the place at first was Darla and she said that we would have update stuff like the dishwasher, the stove and the refrigerator and gray counter top, but that was a lie. We walk in and the ceiling was still dirty, and there was holds in the walls. All the appliances was not up to date in fact it was old and not what was promise.
The lady that we signed the paper with on the move in day Samatha told us that Darla would not be in until tomorrow. I was so mad by the dirty ceiling, and them to be told that we need to pay 12.00 more for garbage but that is not what Darla said we have to pay. They even had us resign the lease we sign it after we can in with the down payment on July 6. The new one had the 12.00 dollar fee on it. After i had calm down and we was moving stuff in we met some neighbors and they inform us that it was no leak in the apartment it had really bad flooded now I'm being lied to. The people that was in D102 have a video of the problems in this place. The people that was in D 102 told us that they give them D 109 so no one came and put money down.
The next day I made sure that i was up early. I went in there and I told them about the holds, the flooded, the place was not move in ready. So they said that they would have every thing fix starting July 21 and we would get back a portion of our prorated rent back until every thing is done starting July 20. The maintenance can in put in the washer, and fix some of the holds in the wall. July 25 we got a call from Samatha tell us that the cleaning lady will be in today to clean the ceiling we was not home but i have all ready told them that they need to call before coming over. When I got home the ceiling was not done it was still dirty. And at 8:30am me and my boyfriend are still sleeping and the cleaning lady come in. No knocking, no call from them. I was still in my underwear and so was my boyfriend. All of my blankets now have dirt on them from the ceiling. And all they can say is sorry to late for sorry. What ever you do don't come to live here once its 3 month going in to our lease we are going to look a better place to live.
One more thing one day I was going in to the office to tell them some thing and there was a lady sitting there filling out application and Samatha told her that the deposit was 450.00 I paid 400.00 and the people that live in the place we was going to move in to told us that they paid 250.00 and there rent is 795.00 and I pay 937.00. So they are raising price on people.
