My laptop wouldnt switch on for me over 1 month ago so i decided to take it to com cubed in Derry as they fix broken laptops/computers etc. I left it in and the man on told me that he would phone in a couple of days no phonecall came within two weeks so I decided to ring, he told me he would ring back again but i never recieved a phonecall, so again i was the one to ring when i had rung again he explained to me that my laptop could not be fixed and its "for the bin". I went down and collected it that day and I asked what was wrong he explained that the laptop was used on the bed too much and was ruined he said that it would be would out just as much to buy a new laptop than it would be to get it fixed. And said to me if you're intrested you can sell it to me for £25.00 because i could use the keyboard. I did not take the money I decided to get it checked out somewhere else as it is no more than 2 years old. So I took the laptop to someone else they had the laptop one week, I got it back fixed. I paid £30.00 for getting this fixed, and the person who fixed it said there was no problem atall with the motherboard and ComCubed said this was the main problem. If i had of took the £25.00 for my £400.00 laptop. God only knows what they would have sold my laptop on for, I do not advice this shop to anyone. If you look young and they know your not technically minded then they will definitely con you out of your money!
