Applied for a job with Kansas Workforce for AA Self Storage in Junction City, where I was to have an interview with the manager, namely Jessica. When I arrived at the interview, a woman greeted me at the desk (not the manager) who told me that she had been hired two weeks ago by the manger and that before that she was homeless and lived with the people that ran the business next door. I was told that the manager was out buying a new phone and that she knew she had an interview with me and would be back shortly. The manger did not show up for my scheduled interview until 45 minutes later and I was not even interviewed. She was busy looking at her new phone and told me that she needed someone who would arrive to work on time (I tried not to laugh at this statement), and that she would call me when she made a decision. When I told the CSR at the Kansas Workforce center about the situation, she told me that the manager (Jessica) had come into the center and told her that she needed someone right away, as she was doing all of the work herself. I told her that she had hired someone two weeks previous. She was puzzled. I have not heard back from the manager (did I really think I would). This is very unprofessional and I will be contacting the corporate office to further explain my situation. She wasted my time, when I need a job. Very unfair!!!
