I brought my wedding ring in to have a missing small stone replaced and prongs retipped. When I picked up the ring I noticed it had a different look. It looked like it was cracked. A line kinda ran across the large stone. I asked the jeweler about it and he told me it was a flaw. I told him I had never seen it before. He said the ring was very dirty and they cleaned it several times and it would fade out after I wore it a few days. It sounded crazy but I had to go to work. Well it has not gone away. I called back and he told me to wipe it with baby oil and it would fade out. How crazy! I just want to cry. There is no way I can prove he changed my diamond. It's so sad that people work hard to have something nice and someone can just take it away and there is nothing you can do.
