I had been shopping at Grand Forks with my family and purchased some items from "Finish Line." I have been receiving emails and coupons from this company. When I attempted to order online using the SAME Avion Visa I used to purchase my articles at Grand Forks, I was REFUSED because I they told me I needed an 'AMERICAN' Visa! It wasn't American when I shopped there, was it? I am a Canadian, and proud of it, WHY are these people practicing a double standard? The male representative was quite curt when he told me "You will have to get an American account before you can purchase from us!" Doesn't that beat all? Thats a really fine way to treat people who want to purchase items from your store, isn't it? I also think that shows Canadian people that some American businesses don't realize that VISA is INTERNATIONAL. What I have to say to Finish LIne: "Your products are great and I would love to purchase some of them, but if you don't intend to honor your advertisements/coupons, you should send them ONLY to your FELLOW AMERICANS" This company needs to take a course in Public Relations.
