We paid Toto to have our 1968 GTO towed from Winter Garden, FL, to Tampa in 2007. He was supposed to restore our classic car to its original condition. However, he stalled for months and was not truthful about the progress. We ended up going to court with others in the same situation, but there was no resolution. We gave him $40,000, and he ruined our classic. He sold the Endura bumper, which is worth some money, along with other parts. The GTO was insured through Hagerty, and we received $14,000 from that. I suspected there was something off about him the first time I saw him, but I did not follow my gut feelings.
