I had the same issues with Sports Illustrated/Finish Line stealing money from my checking account for magazine subscriptions.
I bought a jacket in the Finish Line Sports store, I paid with my debit card (BIG mistake) the clerk told me that they were giving a "free subscription to sports illustrated magazine" all I had to do was write my name & address on a card. & I did not sign anything other than my receipt for the purchase. 6 months later I get a charge of $49.95 taken from my checking account!!! When I called SI they told me that the Finish Line clerk "gave me the agreement when I signed it" I explained that I not only NEVER signed an agreement I also NEVER got anything from the Finish Line associate. SI did refund my account a few days later but when I contacted the Finish Line store regarding this I was basically told; Sorry you will have to deal with SI.
