Clayton homes talked me and my husband into signing a so called buy for my son and his wife we were told that after a year that we would be free and clear of any obligation on this loan. Needless to say they kept the home four years and let it get repo now we are getting a bad credit report and they are saying we owe them 18000 dollars for something we never bought. They didn't even tell us when they took the trailer off the lot it seems crazy to owe somebody that much money and have nothing to show for it. They lied to us from the get go. We are both old and have always tried to pay our bills and now we have this hanging over our heads because we believed a bunch of liars at Clayton homes and Vanderbilt mortgage.
