I visited Wal-mart #669 in Dalton, GA today and was apalled at the bad customer service that I received. The first thing that happened was that my husband had ordered something and had it shipped site to store. When we got to the store he realized that he had forgotten to print out the email with the tracking number but went to see if there was any way of picking up the item while we were there. The first lady that tried to help him did not understand how to work the computer and could not spell our last name which is relatively simple. Finally he had to wait and go back and get someone else to help him. When I got to the check-out, I went through the self check out and had quite a few coupons for the items that I had purchased. The cashier was trying to help me, but most of the coupons that I was trying to scan the register said that they could not recognize the items even though I had purchased that item. When the cashier tried punching them in the register told her she was over the limit or something on coupons and the cashier had to call a manager to help. The manager, Crystal-manager #72 -was the most UN-helpful person that I had ever met and made me feel like a theif and a second rate citizen for using coupons. She even unlocked the coupon cubby at the register to check the ones that the cashier had helped me with, and was checking each individual item to make sure that I had purchased that item. I work hard looking for ways to save money and was very upset by the actions of this particular "manager". If wal-mart is going to accept coupons I believe that their cashiers and managers should have better training in how they can be used before telling someone who uses them everyday that they cant be used a certain way.
