Sure, an exciting, live auction on tv, over the phone, competing with other bidders... Scam of the year. Duped on the big item but sent the item worth less than $1000. Order an item, only two left, for $625 but worth $3875.00... Get it delivered, but must be signed for at delivery 2 wks later, kewl.
Order another item, diamond earrings, 1 carat each, cost after bidding, $2550.00, worth $6000, they claim. After receiving the ring, which needed "sizing", the earrings were expected any day, afterall... No sizing required, right? At four wks from order, 11/27/03, called 1-800-432-9184 to inquire about order status, was told 4 to SIX wks, it's only been 4 wks and "your order is being processed." Seven wks thru now, 8wks, 2days, any number I dial, as above, plus 1-800-622-2820, the number on my credit card statement for the original $625 order, gives a busy signal each time.
The 407-620-2033 number is useless also, as it shunts you to a mailbox which, at first, I was able to leave a message, never responded to, (suprise, suprise) now says the mailbox is full, please hang up! I held on the line just to see what would happen and the machine voice said, after about thirty seconds,
" ARE YOU STILL THERE? GOODBYE!" and disconnected on their end.
That was when I decided it was time to call my credit card company and start a dispute, of course, the guy who helped me file said the amount being so large, I wouldn't be credited right away but I should watch my next statement. From what I have read so far here, I don't look forward to a happy resolution of the situation, La Sigh...
