Had plumbing problems. Called Roto Rooter Feb. 2003. Plumber came to my house, told me he thought I needed to change all the old piping (terra caute) under my house. Two Roto Rooter plumbers came out the next day and changed all of the piping under the house, assuring me this would solve the problem.
A few days later the sewage stopped up again, called Roto Rooter and they sent out a plumber. This went on for months and each time a Roto Rooter plumber came out I was told there was a problem with the piping. Called Roto Rooter and Mr. Charles Dubois told me it was not their fault. He was also upset that each time a plumber came to my house they refused to charge me for the visit saying it was Roto Rooter's fault.
Finally in Dec. 2003 I called Roto Rooter for three weeks only to find out they were cancelling all my calls.By this time the sewage was backing up in shower, tub, everywhere.
I called another plumbing company out of Baton Rouge and within 24 hours they fixed the problem with the piping. It cost me an additional $1100 but it was well worth it.
I have written to Roto Rooter - called BBB - and so far no one cares that I spent $2750 with Roto Rooter and the problem was never solved.
