I have a 20 HP 42" riding mower that was purchasd 3 years ago. When I started it up this spring to mow it would not go into gear. When I called z sears repair servicethey told me they would replace the transmission for 900 dollars. They have the same mower on sale now for 1400 dollars. I bought a new Cub Cadet mower from a local dealer and he took the Craftsman in on trade for 100 dollars. He called me 4 hours later and said he fixed the transmission with a 25 cent part and I could have it back if I returned the 100 dollars. To bad Sears isn't as honest as a local dealer and tried to fix it instead of offering me a new transmision for 900 dollars!
