I am totally dis-satisfied with Sears and it's repair service. I have had a Craftsman riding mower model#917.28734—20 HP 42" cut. It is only 3 years old and this spring when I started it up it would not go into gear. I called the Sears service center in Sherman, Texas and they said they would replace the transmission for 900 dollars. They had the same mower on sale for 1400 dollars and that was all they could do was replace the transmission. I took it to a local Cadet Cub dealer and he fixed the transmission with a 25 cent part! Sears service sucks and they're Craftsman tools arn'et what they used to be. I will never buy a Craftsman tool or anything from Sears again!
