In October, Direct TV sent an installer out to install new services to a home built in 2009 and pre-wired for cable. The installer happen to be young somalian man who was not fluent in the language so there was some difficulty communicating. The installer took 5 hours to install cable and unknown to use drilled holes into the floor and cinder block and caused damage to our irrigation system, master bedroom rug, put holes in the floor and cause the loss of heat in one room because duct work was misplaced. Since our home is under the builder's warranty the damages were assessed by their maintenance men.
Now we have to file a claim with Direct TV for the damages they caused to our new home.
