Directv sat tv damaged my home took my equipment and asked for money after i camcelled service

This began in august. I had direct tv service for around a year and me and my wife decided to move. So directv will move your dish and equipment for free. Everything went smoothe until then.

The house i bought sits on a concrete foundation thats around 4ft high on the back of the house. The installer decided to mount the dish on the bottom of the wall where i would run into it with the lawnmower. This is after he tried to mount it on the other side of the house and failed. He filled the giant holes in with globs of silicone.

Well my wife who really doesnt take much notice normally calls me. She says this guy doesnt know what hes doing. So i asked her to put him on the phone. I was still calm at this point.

Well the guy installing was jamaican and hard to understand. I asked him why he mounted the dish on the side of my house because there was a pole the previous owner had a dish mounted on that was alreadu wired in.

"And i was kinda suprised but said yes if you could because i dont want to run into the dish with my mower. Well he went off on me on the phone and my wife was home alone so i thought this guy was nuts. He said i already mounted the gd thing to the wall so if you want it on the pole its going to be $65. So i said ok thats fine the wires are already ran to the pole.

So then he changed his mind and said i already ran the wires under the house and im not putting it on the pole. So at that point i asked him to pack up and leave. When i got home he took all the equipment. Drilled holes through my floor, walls, carpet, and two sides of my home. I was angry!

Well i called directv and they told me the installer is a sub company and not employed by them. They told me we signed for the install and when i asked my wife she said she didnt know the guy was there for about a hour. The installer forged a signature for the installed and pried the lock off the basement door and started installing.

Directv told me to get a estimate for the damages which i had to mail in its around $2800. They told me they would handle the employee and send me a check. Its been over 7 months and i seen the installer about a week ago on my lunch break still driving that van. And i never got a check.in fact they sent me a cancellation bill and equipment bill which the installer took with him. I will never recommend this company to anyone they have horrible customer service that just transferrs your calls for hours.
