I stopped at D&D in Bridgeport, CT on my way to a job, and all I wanted was
A bagel and some water... I got a lot more than that! I have been a long time customer of D&D, love their coffee but I think I will never go into another D&D again! I was threatened by an employee, who told me she was going to PUNCH me in the face and call me a Bitch, because I was not ready when she wanted me to be. I just walked up to the coutner to place my order, when I thought I should make sure I had cash on my before making my order. So, I asked her to give me a minute... She coped and attitude and walked away.
I waited patiently at the counter until she returned, only to be ignored by her, so I place my order and she pretended not to hear me, although she was standing right in front of me, she finally looked and said-What? What did you say you wanted? This made me very upset, so I looked at her and asked, "you didn't hear me"? And she said "no, I wasn't paying attention to you! Because I asked you before if you was ready and you weren't, so".
I told her that she should have been paying attention to her customer, since she is customer service and all, I mean excuse me for making her do her job! Imagine that-actually doing what you get paid to do. Who would have thought.
She then turned to the assistant manager and said "come and take care of this bitch, before I go out from behind the counter and punch her in the face"
I could not believe it! In all of the years and all of the Dunkin and Donuts I have visited, I may have come across a few employees with attitudes, but never been threatened by one. I will be writing a letter the owner of that Dunkin and Donuts, Corporate and the better of business bureau.
