Complaint / review text:
My husband and I used this company for our wedding, and they have been very difficult to work with. We loved our photographer, Matt, but everyone else in the company has given us problems. On the day before the wedding at 2 pm we got a call that we had to drive down to their studio immediately to pick up the promotional photo cards so our guests would know where to order photos online. As if we cared whether our guests got these materials. We told them no, and our photographer 'happened' to show up at the studio and delivered them for us. Our contract included the digital negatives with rights to reproduce, so we only ordered one photo on a pop-out frame from the website. They delivered a plain print, and when we asked them to fix it, the same thing happened again. Finally they got it right on the third try. Also, they promised that our engagement photo session would be included with our wedding photos when we got the digital negatives, but they weren't. The owner says he doesn't have access to them anymore, even though they say they keep all photos for something like 3 years and these are only 4 months old. The digital photos were also sent to us in an obscure format, and I couldn't figure out how to open them. My tech-savy husband was able to convert them to a different format, but if it had been just me, I wouldn't have been able to even see them. The only redeeming factor was the photographer himself. Matt was awesome, he really tried to make us have a good experience, and his photos look amazing.
