Cheap made furniture

We bought a sectional sofa in Dec. and in may they had to replace both end recliners due to the stiching coming loose although they did not want to, now Dec. 2010 we are having problems with the same two end recliners sagging to one side and they are only about 8 months old. The total purchased price was $2800.00 and they are saying it is normal wear, if this is normal wear in 8 mths, whats it gonna be like in 18 months
