I had magic jack for a year I reactivate my service for 5 years. They activate it but they never mention that my phone number had expired or ask me if I needed a new number because mine is not working anymore. When I called that number they said person is not available to take that call when someone calls from that magic jack in my caler ID a different number comes on, when I want to make a called I have to dial A Florida number and then this # *01000242095* What kind of phone number is that? When I called to complain they told me if I wanted to picked a # I had to pay $10.00 extra. I told them I wanted to cancel my activation She told me I could not do it, I told her I was not going to use their sevices. I can send them back their Magic Jack. What frustates me if that she was not trying to help she just want their money because since I pay for the 5 year activation fee she could wave those $10.00 and give me back my old phone # back because after a year of service the real fair option they give you is a 5 year contract. The transaction stiil on hold in the bank because I just did this transaction on 01/07. I want to let the channels that advertise this products that this company is not clear with their specifications of their products as well as their return policies.in the USA I thought if you do not use a product or it doesn't work for you and it has not being a month you can get your money back. I am stock with a phone none of the people I know would recognize because is not a phone number that would come on their caller ID and if I want to make a phone call I have to dial at least 20 numbers. The Company is a white glove stealers of peoples money and their customer service is the worst I'Ve sen in years. I an going to make with my friends, family and where I work all the bad publicity I can for this company. Thank God I have not recomend this product to anyone.
