Home Depot Complaints poor judgement

Yesterday I visited your Los Banos location to return items worth no more than $13.00. They were almost done with the return process when I presented my ID, a valid US Passport. The clerk wasn't sure how to process it so she called, "Randy". Randy came over and simply voided the return, when I attempted to communicate with him, he grabbed his ringing cell from his apron and turned and walked away. I'm assuming Randy is a manager of some sort and I was in complete disbelief that this is how a member of your team treats customers. The message I got from this experience was that rather than taking the time to figure out how to process my return with a valid passport, Randy would rather not be bothered with providing any level of customer service. He completely disrespects your customers and makes a priority of taking a personal call on his cell before he engaged in conversation with me. If it is in fact true you are unable to process returns with a valid passport, Randy could have AT LEAST made an effort of offering basic customer service and offered me an explanation. With Lowe’s being 5 minutes down the road I don’t know how you could expect me to ever return to your store again when I have been treated so poorly.
