I registered at PriceShuffle.com on 10/24, and used the given timely code from the site to get 100 free bids. I thought I will just try it out and see if it is working. After using some free bids, I thought it is really time consuming and decided to close my account, so I called but got no answer, then I e-mailed them to close my account and delete my information because I was worried about the leaking of my credit card information.cc info was required to sign on to the site. I got e-mail back stating that I was not allowed to go back to my account again.
In the box of registration or the contract statement, nothing was mentioned about signing up for a bid package. However, my credit card bill came a month later with a charge from priceshuffle.com of $149.75. My worry materialized, PriceShuffle.com charged my credit card without my authorization. I did not receive any confirmation about the order (because I did not order) or billing of the charge, not even when I was getting e-mail back from priceshuffle.com the day I closed my account.
Since I did not use the 300 bids at all, so I requested to get a refund, so far no response.
PriceShuffle.com is scamming innocent people of 149.75. Go to google and search on ' priceshuffle 149.75, you can see all 19 pages of statements, almost all has the same experience.
Any place we can report this unethical business operation and get justice for people?
