I signed up for priceshuffle and was automatically charged for 300 bids at $149 when I contacted priceshuffle that I misunderstood how the bids worked and wanted a refund for the $149 I was told I should read the terms and conditions payment section - no refund will be issued so I went and looked at the T&C and nowhere does it state that by registering for priceshuffle that I am agreeing to buy 300 bids for $149
Below is the excerpt from the T&C.
Bids are available for purchase in the following increments:
50 Bids for $25.00
100 Bids for $50.00
125 Bids for $75.75
300 Bids for $149.75
500 Bids for $199.75
Note: by completing the registration process and entering your credit card you are purchasing one of our non-refundable bid packs
I would have happily bought 50 bids for $25 in order to try the service but that was not the case. Priceshuffle willingly operates deceptive registration practice and they know it. It is a real shame that they took a decent concept of penny biding and criminalized it by deceptively charging users at registration $149 for 300 bids.
This is a complete scam and the folks at priceshuffle should be ashamed of themselves for stealing money from hard working people who are just trying win an item at a discounted price to give their kids a little something extra for Christmas or Hanukkah.
