I was hired by ecampuscash.com as Sales executive with the promise of being promoted a Regional VP of Sales in 2 months. I signed and independent contractor agreement which stated "$1500 base and 20% for all sales for 2 months". When it came time to pay the first base pay they terminated via email. "We are sorry inform that, we are eliminating/terminating the sales executive position in your area due to our tough financial situation and we might get back to you when company in comfortable situation."
They asked me when I was training for the position not to tell the others that were training about my base pay!
I have now started a Sales Campaign in the Town I live in and now have to go out and and tell people that this company does not pay it's employees.
I would not fall for any of the promises of this company, they will lead you on and when it's time to pay you, they terminate you. I have a agreement that is binding and I will take legal action to recover my money plus any costs incurred by me.
