Advanced Associates hired me as a independent contractor (sales rep) to sell Kirby Vacuum Cleaners. They said that the base pay would be $475.00 per week, They said that it was commision verses base pay, which means that if your commission is higher then your base then you only get your commision. I have yet to recieve a check from them for the (1) Kirby that I sold during training that they said I would get paid for. They also said that we would not have to go door to door that they already had people doing this for us setting up appointments, WRONG!
I was out there today knocking by myself, I was dropped off in a subdivision and told to set up my own sales. Mind you now that they failed to tell me until the very end of training that in order to make base pay that we have to do 30 demos in a pay period, which mind you now is almost impossible. So here I am in a subdivision by myself in 95 degree weather with no water for 3 hours until they came back around to get me and bring me to yet another subdivision. Where I walked for almost 3 more hours.
