Citywide Marketing uses fraudulent hiring practices advertising substantial base pay and positions that don't exist, teaches deceptive sales tactics, cheats employees, and encourages soliciting from sales employees. All of their posts on job search websites advertised multiple positions from sales to managerial training to account managers, as well as salary. Only after the entire interview process and being hired I was informed that none of this was true.
I was hired as a "Distributor", not the account manager position I had applied for. When I inquired about the base pay I was informed that this was a commission only position. I confronted the manager about his fraudulent job listing and he agreed to pay me $500/week base salary. After receiving two checks short $100 each and hearing about other instances of short paychecks from other employees I left the company. Upon receiving my final paycheck I found that not only did it not include the $200 missing from my previous checks, but was short another $250. After inquiring about the missing money the manager denied ever making any agreement to pay me more than minimum wage.
