I am writing this to warn any potential Target Online customers. If you can buy it from some other store, DO! I ordered on December 12. Both items were in stock and available to ship. I qualified for FREE shipping and guaranteed Christmas delivery! I received an email notifying me that the items would ship in two separate shipments. The first item was delivered on December 16th, a pink rip-stick. Everything seemed normal. On December 17th I got an email confirming shipment of the second item. When the item had not arrived by the evening of December 22nd, I began tracking the item only to learn that the tracking number was invalid. I called my credit card company and Target had charged my credit card, so I thought that the item must be on its way. Just to make sure, I contacted Target and they suggested a refund. I asked them where the item was and I got lots of evasive answers. Carol said that it was delayed and had not shipped. I asked Carol why I had not been notified by email that the item was not coming so that I could try to find a replacement item BEFORE Christmas. She offered an apology. Tell that to my 7 year old on Christmas! Carol at Target is sorry that Santa can't find your electric razor scooter! She didn't seem to care. I held for the supervisor, Neil, for over 30 minutes. Repeatedly, Carol returned to offer a refund and to try to get rid of me. I waited and listened to elevator music. This is a far cry from the way I thought Target treated their valued customers. When Neil finally answered, he offered me a promotional discount on a future Target online purchase. That made me laugh. I am so disappointed that I am considering boycotting Target online and locally. I have always been a huge Target fan and shop there at least once a week, but after this horrible experience, I think that the best way to reflect my dissatisfaction is to spend my money somewhere else. Meanwhile, there are two days until Christmas and if I had not contacted Target I would still be waiting on my item. I am wondering if I had to wait on the phone so long because Target has done this to lots of its other customers. I will think twice before I order from Target online again. This is a terrible inconvenience. I called several retailers before finding the item at Sears. Thank goodness for Sears! They had the electric razor scooter in stock AND it was $45 cheaper than Target. My husband just returned home with it! He shared our Target nightmare with the salesman at Sears. The salesman was happy they could make someone's Christmas.
