I bought a car from Lee Goldberger who claimed to own Corporate One Auto Sales or Melray, whatever he would call the business on that day. Come to find out after making a complaint, he does not own the business at all and represents that he does. I paid $9,000 for a car and he promised that he would have the check engine light off by the time of sale. This did not happen so I took that car and a promise. My problem has still not been rectified six months later and I was sold the vehicle without an inspection sticker which I now found out is illegal. But, "he gave me a good deal".
So why should I complain? After all, I spent approximately $9000.00 on the vehicle and he's down on his luck and does not have the money to give back to me and I "have his promise".
Gee, since I am feeling desperate I could just trade in or sell the car to someone else, but WAIT, the engine light is on.
My $9,000 car isn't worth 2 cents.
I've been had.
