Eddie Front Range Auto Uses Deceptive Sales Tactics

Front Range Auto uses deceptive sales practices. On January 31, I went to Front Range Auto to look at a used 2006 Porsche Cayenne. When I test drove the vehicle, the check engine light was on. Front Range agreed to bring the vehicle to a repair shop to see what the problem was. We agreed that we would not have a deal on the car unless the problem was resolved. The repair shop looked at the vehicle on February 2 and essentially said that nothing was wrong and reset the check engine light. A few days later, on February 6, the check engine light went back on. This time, Front Range asked me to bring it to another repair shop who also said the car was fine and reset the check engine light.

When I left the second repair shop on February 9, the check engine light came back on about 15 minutes into my drive. I emailed and then called Front Range and spoke with the owner named Eddie. Despite the fact that I have owned the car less than a week, and the check engine light has come on three times, Eddie said "what do you want me to warranty the car for life" and "I sell used cars as is" and "when you buy a used car you should expect that something is wrong with it". These are actual quotes from Eddie. I told him that I was going to contact the BBB and he said by doing that I was trying to "smudge his name" and "extort him." Front Range Auto does not do business the right way and uses extremely deceptive sales practices.
