I purchased an auto from tyler's blue ridge auto which seemed to run fine and was "As-Is" with a limited warranty from a third party. After driving the vehicle for a couple of days the check engine light came on. Took the vehicle to the dealer, Gary and he told me to tighten the gas cap while he had the diagnostic tool plugged in.
Pretty sure he reset the check engine light while I was out of the car. Took it to a garage when the light came back on a couple days later. And they said the catalytic converter was failing and needed replacing and the vehicle failed the emissions inspection.
They are dishonest to the core and will rip you off. Do not buy from these people.
