I have a letter 'offering" me a credit card to clean up a debt. The thing is creditor can not produce any proof of this debt with AT&T. First I never liked AT&T since they ripped off my parents like about 15 years ago. When I called the other credit company about this, I asked what telephone number this was in references to and it was at the time my current phone number issued to me by Time Warner. I called Time Warner and they e-mailed me proof that the number came from Time Warner and NOT AT&T. I do not feel that I owe this small amount. Second, I DON'T want a credit card so they can say one amount and charge 40-50 % interest like I have heard on the news. Unless they come up with proof of this debt (as Time Warner suggested). I went through the time to get my proof, they should do the same. I don't like AT&T now and never did and would not deal with them in any way.
