1 & 1 internet service was terrible from day one setting up a basic web site. I went for almost 3-4 weeks to get a web site design and launch. I would design it and just about ready to launch it and it would crash and loose my work. After countless phone calls this mater continue so i called to cancell service. I called to cancell both web site I paid for, and only one was cancell which was the 1st web site I was having problem setting up. I told them I wanted noting to do with them or there poor customer service for both web site I purchase. They should at lease have people that speak english clear for starters, and not out source or hire people which have broken english and maybe they would have understanding of what people are calling about and can help them. They give you the run around like to need to be a guru on web site design. Any way I thought I was clear on closing my account and I quess that did'nt happen. I open my mail and I was sent to collection for non-payment for hosting. I called them about this mater and was told sorry but you know need to call there 2 rd party collection service NCO. Someone needs to put a stop to this type of problem before the business world learns of this new practice and damage people credit just to make a buck. I was sent to collection for $ 18.95 cent, because they would not let me close my account over the phone and it could only be done online once i receive a confirmation letter from 1 &1 internet billing department. Then return it back to 1 &1 internet to close account. We'll I'm sorry I did not cloce it correctly over the internet and i now have a new charge due to the 2nd party collect NCO for $42.89 plus $ 8.00 fee to pay by phone. And it funny that I could finally close this account over the phone with 1 & 1 internet as I told them to put a end to this crazy way of doing business with me and I was not going to pay any more they what there 2 nd party collection co said i needed to pay to close this mater. Very un happy that business has to be "rat" like this to get avery little crume out of people pockets. I though the nightmare of Bank atm fee and overdraft scam was over, but it looks like the begin of a new wave of rip off just dress another way. The Attoney General office will hear about this from me as well. Hope no one else has to be taken for this ride by 1 & 1 internet.
