After several attemts to get an email response from an Americredit Supervisor, I sent the following email to the "board of directors". I still have received no reply to help me resolve this matter.
I made a payment on my account online, however, it was a double payment made in error. When I realized this, I immediately contacted my bank, and was told that because it was a pending payment, they had no accessibility to the funds. My financial institute advised that I contact Americredit. I did so (also on this same afternoon) and was told by an Americredit representative that Americredit could not assist me either. Monday morning I again attempted to contact my bank and Americredit, but got nowhere with my efforts to have the funds credited back to me. I am in dire need of help with this. I am a single mother, and cannot afford to have such an excessive amount of money taken out of my monthly budget.in fact, I have a mortgage that I will be unable to pay if I do not receive this money back. I find it hard to believe that with today’s technology it is impossible to make this happen. My bank cannot submit this payment as unauthorized as it was not an unauthorized payment. I realize it was my error, but nonetheless, I still need assistance with this matter.
