In an attempt to wire a monthly payment to Americredit and a final payment that was due to my mortgage company, which would have prevented them from taking my home, I switched the Code City for each company in error.
The store clerk made an attempt to have the correction made, but the Western Union People, who I'll be writing a complaint about next, would not switch it because I made the mistake and not the clerk. I was told to contact Americredit for my refund.
The Americredit representative disscussed the information with a supervisor and was told to keep the entire $950 and apply it to future payments, which would put me two months ahead. Because of them, there is a possibility that I may loose my home. The form clearly says countrywide, but Americredit is keeping the money. The supervisor was very ignorant to me and asked when would they receive the next $151, which would completely put me three months ahead. She laughed at me and hung up the telephone. I am going to make every attempt to sue them and will never use them again.
