I used a search companythat I googled on the internet, to try and locate two suspicious phone calls to my cell phone, asking for my personal information regarding self employment and business location. The person on the phone would not give any information regarding their name, company, or purpose of their call. The company I used was called "PeopleLookup", found on the internet. I was charged $1.00 for each phone number, and received none of the promised information (location-state and address, phone, contact name, in return as promised. I had to use my credit card for payment. Sortly after that, I started receiving monthly charges to my credit card from phoneagentsource.com. When I called their 866 number I was told that I had agreed to all of the conditions of establishing an account with them, which I never did. I had no idea who these people were. I stated that I wanted all of their charges dropped or I would sue them and report them for fraud and credit card damages to my California State Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commision and the Federal Interstate Commerce Commision. This, I am in the process of doing, through my bank at this time. And, we will see if they drop their credit card charges. As a result of this fraud on my credit card with a good rating, I now have to cancel my credit card and receive a new number to avoid any further charges. This has really pissed me off, as I use this card on a daily basis.
