I'm having problems with my phoneline for at least 4 years. Since then I was told by different technicians, that the underground splices between 48th street and 40th street need to be replaced, including wiring! (Corrosionproblem). Right now I have on top of a bad hum and a loud crackle a partyline going with one of my neighbors, which was veryfied by the phone company. The problem is, that Qwest is aware of the situation, but just giving us the runaround and not fixing the wiring! Can You help? Thank You, Helmut Scholz
