We purchased 49 Pella Architect Series Double Hung Douglas Fir windows in August. We installed them the first week of October. They leaked water/snow/air. Pella replaced them in February. Pella installed all the replacements except 21 units which they left stacked in our garage. The new windows, installed in February also leak water/air/snow. Pella refuses to stand behind their warranty. We also ordered and paid for Douglas Fir windows. We were delivered just cheep pine windows with a thin veneer. 1) The windows are the wrong wood type. 2) The windows leak. We are homeless due to the mold/water damage. Pella needs to stand behind their warranty.
