I had problems with a Kenmore sewing machine I bought less than 2 weeks ago. The problem was with one of the parts not the machine itself. The store is over a 40 mile trip for me. I called the store 256-741-8300 4 times, First call I was forwarded by the 4th person and she hung up on me. I called back the second person to answer my holding call didn't even say hello, just hung up on me. (these calls were in electronics). The next two calls went straight to voice mail with no person ever answering.
The chat lady said to carry the machine back to the store and they would give me a refund but they would not mail the $11.00 part to my house even if I paid shipping. My last machine was over 30 years old and still runs great but the new stuff is not worth the trouble you get from their customer service at SEAR. I will NEVER go back into a SEARS store again. Never.
