New sewing machine with defective buttonhole foot. Store 256-741-8300 made 4 calls first call talked to 4 people before the last one hung up on me. Second call asked for manager the second person didn't even say hello, just hung up. 3 & 4 th calls... No answer directly to voice mail where I left my name/number. Yet an hour later I have not rec'd any call.
Chat Lady seemed to have a script of some kind and all she could say was "I do apologize" but the best advice she could give me was to take it back to the store. So I have to drive over 40 miles to return a defective $11-$14 part? Their defective part but my problem? My expense? Something just doesn't add up here. The old SEARS would have taken care of this in a responsibile manner.
