PSE&G Refuses to supply copies of bills

In July our PSE&G account reflected a zero balance.in October we were billed $1565.00 for "overage" charges. We were told by meter reader that we were being estimated at approximately 2,000 units more per month and suggested we request copies of bills to prove overcharging. Since October I have requested copies of bills for January - through April however PSE&G only will provide a computer generated printout. I've requested the bill copies over 10 times now and always get a printout. Currently, PSE&G has now added $1265.03 to our current account (we moved residence in June) and still will not provide past bills! I cannot reach them via telephone and have already lost 2 days of work to go to their offices to straighten this out. PSE&G will not provide the past bills; we have paid over $2,000.00 since July how can we possible owe an additional $1265.03 for service they cannot provide proof of?
