Timeshare registry International has a well trained staff who are well rehearsed in their sales pitch and very cordial in offering to sell one's timeshare through a diligent marketing effort. All they needed was $795.00 for the advertising of the timeshare. They said it would sell for around $22,000.
I coincidentally spoke with the Worldmark people who told me I would never hear from them again, that it is a scam. They were right on both points.
Now I believe there is a scam piggy backing off T.S.I. They claim to be investigating scams like this one and want to refer the matter to to a law firm which will forward documents to T.S.I.in the belief that when they see a law firm involved, they will nervously return my money.
I asked the contact person if his organization was governmental. He said no but the director was retired from a Florida policing agency. He then went back to the talk re: attorneys and all they needed was $311.00 to put the papers together for me to sign.
I took the conversation different directions several times and he very insitantly came back to the $311.00. He was much too persistant to be someone who was there to help, not wanting to take "not right now" for an answer. He wanted to charge it on my credit card right away and "get the process started". He knew every detail of my transaction with T. S, i. A double scam perhaps??
