Jeremy Benvenuto had contacted me several times regarding selling our timeshare in Atlantic City, NJ. I finally agreed to let him sell our unit after he verbally assured me that I could get my $500 back if our Timeshare week did not sell. My credit card was charged on September 29 and I received the contract the 1st or 2nd week of October, signed and returned it October 13.
I called to cancel the offer to sell my timeshare on approximately November 29 and spoke with Rudy. He told me if I wanted to cancel, it had to be within 3 days of my credit card being charged. I didn't receive my bill until after October 28 or 29 showing the actual charge being done on September 29. How was I to know Jeremy charged my card immediately instead of waiting to receive my signed contract.
Jeremy repeatedly assured me I could get my moey back "No other business reselling timeshares could guarantee that". Every time he called he assured me I could get my money back if my timeshare did not sell.
It now appears I have been lied to as I am not able to get my money back from Timeshare Registry International.
I have left a message for Jeremy Benvenuto to call me regarding "how the selling" is going and what kind of advertising he is doing. When he calls me back I'm going to ask for copies of the print ads he is actually using. To date he has not returned my phone call.
